Broadmeadow Racecourse is conveniently located among the stud and spelling properties of the Hunter valley and Central Coast. It is in close proximity to racing clubs in the Metropolitan, Provincial and Country areas and offers endless options for your horses racing career.
The racecourse itself provides all of the facilities required to make training your horse a success, with multiple training surfaces that include sand, grass and all-weather Pro-Ride.
The Pro-Rides’ low impact cushioned fibre surface is a great track for older horses while helping to prolong the soundness of young horses as they train.
There is also an Equine Pool on site, which is readily available for the swimming of horses daily and is a fantastic addition to the training of thoroughbreds.
David’s barn and stabling facilities can accommodate all horse needs with a relaxed environment that is located away from the hustle and bustle, at the far end of the racecourse grounds.
Day yards with walk-in, walk-out stables, spacious undercover yards and clean roomy stables inside the barn ensure your horse is comfortable and content during its time with us.
An eight horse undercover walker is located at the entrance to the barn where horses are walked daily.
Horse Shoe Beach for beach swimming as well as Equissage massage therapy are also used to offer remedial benefits to horses that are in training.
Dumaresq St is also home to our loyal stable pony ‘Flake’. He is an invaluable part of the day to day training routine as he leads horse on and off the track and works with younger horses to keep them safe and relaxed.
